You tell me - #13

What is the one purchase you made in 2005 that you wish you hadn't?

You tell me.

The worst dress on the face of the earth... went shopping with a friend who convinced me it looked so good. Even get compliments the whole two times I've been brave enough to wear it... but the f__ing dress has ruffles and I HATE it. Worst purchase ever, even if it was on sale.

All of these damned fish. I bought them in the summer when the fountain on the patio looked bare. Now they're in tanks in the house and the amusement has worn off. All I get out of it now is feeding, cleaning, doctoring...

Picture frames. I buy more picture frames than any normal human being should, but do I put photos in them? No. I keep all my pretty pictures on my computer and upload them to a blog every now and again. Do I have wall space for frames? No. Do I have table space for frames? No. Baaad, useless purchases. Damn credit card.

That's an easy one. I'm really not sure what I was thinking, but I chalk it up to a momentary lapse of reason. Anyway, I bought these custom-made, silk, duponi drapes that are absoulutely georgeous. However, they cost $325 a panel!!! I bought four of them. So, you do the math!?! Doh!

Mine is a biggie. I have to say the worst purchase last year was my house. I LOVE my house, seriously, but every time I turn around it seems that something else is falling apart.

Oh, that's easy: my frickin iPod photo.

Because not even two minutes after that, the iPod VIDEO was unleashed. Steve Jobs hates my ass.

Um...a pair of Hornets tickets. Not that I didn't love the game or that I'm not going to go see them again -- I had a great time.

Sadly, it was all of 12 hours after I bought two tickets that my company started giving away tickets for that night's game. I paid money I didn't have to for seats worse than the ones I could have had for free.

My Apple Powerbook. I should have waited for the new ones with the Intel chip.

For some reason, a certain rayon shirt comes to mind. It's so femme that it's well on its way to being a blouse, and it's so tight that everyone can see I absolutely have no pecs. What was I thinking?
