President's Day fun

Of all the actors who have played fictional presidents of the United States, which one would you vote for if they actually ran as those characters?

There is a tie for my fave faux free-world foreman (gotta love that alliteration!):

Kevin Kline as president William Harrison Mitchell - Dave
Morgan Freeman as president Tom Beck - Deep Impact

Care to join the wackiness?

Martin Sheen or Morgan Freeman. I don't think America makes presidents like them, however.

Also, Glenn Close when she acted as interim president in Airforce 1.

Since we're allowed to go with TV presidents, I'll take Dennis Haysbert from 24. ;)

Oooh...I don't remember his name, but I liked The American President with Annette Benning. Anyone know that one? Not sure if he'd be a good leader, but he sure was cute. And romantic. :)

This is fun!!

LP - Thanks for visiting! Although I never watched West Wing, I can see where MS would be a good choice. Plus, he's kinda cute!

TII - Ooh, Glenn Close! I never saw Air Force 1, but I think GC is always great ... except in The Big Chill. I found everyone in that movie to be a big bugger.

Nicole - Aaaghh! Haven't seen 24 either! Dang!

EK - That would be Michael Douglas. One of the few roles he played in which I didn't find him kinda sleezy. Martin Sheen was in that one too, by the way!

Ayannali - Thanks for stopping by! I forgot about Bill Pullman. He was pretty good ...

Go Dave - Kevin Kline! Actually, wasn't that Bill Clinton?

Speaking of Bill, what about John Travolta? Didn't he play a president in that Anonymous feature..

What do I know. i'm Canadian...

Dennis Haysbert on 24 was really good. I also liked Kevin Kline's fake version, esp. when he reduced the budget. Seems so simple, doesn't it?

I came by way of Michele.
