The weekly three - week two

If I do say so myself, "the weekly three" premiere went swimmingly.

So, I have decided to order a full season of episodes.

Once again, the only rule is that if you answer, please expand. Simple one-word answers won't fly here.

1 - When your alarm clock goes off, do you get right up, or snooze for a while?
2 - Do you go barefoot in your house or where something on your feet (socks, houseshoes, etc.)?
3 - Do you floss regularly?

Now. For fear of public flogging, I will begin.

1 - I must snooze for at least 30 minutes. A wretched habit, I know. But it's the only way.
2 - I always wear houseshoes. Can't help it. And because of the honking plantar's wart my mom picked up from going barefoot constantly, you can rest assured that my dogs will always be covered.
3 - Every night. It took about 33 years for me to finally develop the habit, but my gums have never looked better.

1. I snooze at least half-a-dozen times before finally dragging myself out of bed. Sleep is heavenly; getting up is not.

2. It's half and half with me. I'd rather go barefoot but sometimes the tootsies get a little too cold, know what I mean?

3. Definitely. Every single night. Can't say I've seen a VISUAL gum difference but it takes the dentist much less time to scrape me up during checkups and that's a good thing.

1. I have a chronically bad back, so I'm up as soon as it goes off. It's set with enough time for me to get mobile before I have to do any actual moving.

2. I have a favorite pair of slippers that go on the second I come in and off only for bed and putting on shoes. Old habit from my nursing days.

3. I try, but I hate the way it sticks in my teeth.

1) I'm retired from the old 8-5 (although I do work at home as a writer), so I no longer have to slap the snooze. Hell, I don't even have a clock by my bed anymore (you can all smack me if you want to), but for the multitude of years that I did work a desk-and-a-lamp job, I learned to not snooze. It was much easier on me to just get up and get moving.

2) I'm almost always barefoot (we have carpets), but when it's cold I wear either slippers or those socks with the grips on the soles.

3) Like you, it took me years to adopt the habit of flossing. So glad I did!

1) Most of the time, I wake up before the hateful device goes off.

2) I usually wear sandals. (Sometimes that's all I wear.)

3) Not enough. On the other hand, I have one of those high-zoot ultravibrating Toothbrushes from Hell, and it does a decent job of loosening up the goo.

1. Have to get up. The cat jumps on me and meows until I turn the thing off so she can get back to sleep.
2. Shoeless a lot, but usually with socks on.
3. Like Charles, not as much as I should. I own a wonderful little dental pick, though, for handling those matters that shall remain between me and my sink.

1. I hate to get up. Hit the snooze at least three times... even tho it's across the room (if I could reach it I'd never get up) Cat finally screams one too many times and I get up to feed it.

2. Barefoot. Flip-flops if I have to go outside.

3. Almost daily. Finally after all these years I love how clean it makes my teeth feel.

1. Rarely use it. Ever.

2.Barefoot or socks. Hot or cold. Whichever the temp calls for. No shoes.

3. Rarely. Hardly ever.

1.I can't help myself. I hit the snooze in my sleep.

1 - Don't usually use an alarm clock...when I do use it it's jump out of bed and run.

2 - Barefoot...I'm a hippy like that ;o)

3 - I own floss, it's somewhere in the house...I swear.

1 - I snooze for no less than 27 minutes. Why does the snooze on every alarm clock last for 9 minutes? Anyone know? Why not give me a full 10??
2 - I almost always have socks on. Only when its hot, hot, hot do I go barefoot. Seriously, when I was a kid, I would have worn shoes to bed if my mom would have let me.
3 - What's flossing? (totally being a smartass here...)

1 - My alarm clock is a 5-year-old child and he doesn't really let me snooze. I haven't used a mechanical alarm clock for 8 years!
2 - Socks, usually. Of course, my doc wants me to wear arch support, so I try to wear my orthopedic althletic shoes.
3 - Yes. Once a month. ; )

1.Always get right up.
2.Socks at least. I got tile everywere and it gets cold on the footsies.
3.Yes - I got a fear of dentures.
