You tell me - #21

A couple of days ago a friend e-mailed me one of those 30-questions thingies where you answer questions about yourself, then pass it on to the next person.

I found one particular question to be quite interesting:

Which are worse: liars or bigots?

So, whaddaya think?

You tell me.

Liars. When a bigot says something, I can filter it through what I know their bigotry to be and maybe get somewhere close to the truth. Moreover, in areas that don't touch upon their particular prejudice, I might be able to rely on their word.
I don't ever really know if I can rely on liars, which is pretty much the same as never being able to rely on them.

A liar can still be a bigot, but you wouldn't know it. At least with a bigot, you can confront it head on. So I would have to say liar. Plus, there's that whole ten commandments thing. Obviously God thought lying was among the biggest of no-no's as being the most destructive to good human relations.

Maybe a liar because (a) you pretty much can see their lies coming and (b) we've all lied at least a little bit at some point, right? ;)
